Hi, I’m Lauren. I make functional and sculptural ceramics from my home studio. My work leans into warm, layered glazes — apricot, coral, and dusky plum — the palette of a July evening just after the sun drops.

Every piece starts as a lump of stoneware and ends up somewhere it can be used: a mug that fits your hand, a bowl for the good salad, a vase for the flowers you cut on the way home.

Process

I throw on the wheel and hand-build, bisque fire, then glaze and fire again to cone 6. Small batches, slow work, no two alike.

Commissions

I take a limited number of commissions each season. If you have something in mind, head to the client portal and tell me about it.
